Description
60cm (23.6”). Maplewood handle with pictograms of 10 Olympic winter sports, steel torch bowl at top resembling the Calgary Tower, with Calgary Olympic legend in English and French. The flame was flown from Athens, Greece, to St. John, Newfoundland. In 88 days, it was carried about 18,000 km across Canada by 6,520 torchbearers sharing torches. Only about 100 torches were made.
